Travel on horseback through the Tien Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan, following old nomadic routes with local Kyrgyz shepherds.

We ride through walnut forests, high pastures and wide foothills, moving across the landscape as the nomads have done for generations.

Journeys

We run a limited number of departures each year, shaped by over twenty years of experience in Kyrgyzstan.

Groups are small, and each journey is supported by a full mobile camp that moves with us through the mountains.

Two distinct routes are offered.

Sary-Chelek takes us through forested valleys, alpine meadows and a chain of mountain lakes.

At-Bashi moves through wide foothills and open grazing country, with faster riding across high plains.
